Whilst I Am Fish may look like a piece of hake to play, actshoally the controls are deliberately designed to be challenging and with an additional layer of added Bossa Style controls, it won’t be like shooting fish in a barrel. Cheers! Navigating in each make-shift aquatic vehicle poses its own unique challenge, but don’t worry, the relative freedom of open water is never too far away with inviting fountains, swimming pools and err, sewers full of hazardous materials to splash around in, before reaching the final goal – the shimmering, open ocean. Our four fin-tastic friends will be hitching rides in all manner of ad hoc water carriers including jars, mop buckets on wheels and the occasional pint glass. We won’t dwell on grizzly fish death, but should your fish fall too far in whatever make-shift fishbowl it finds itself in, run out of air or generally flounder you will be popped back to the most recent checkpoint to refine your approach. I Am Fish is a delightful physics based platforming sequel to I Am Bread, which sees four different fishy friends escaping captivity to reunite once again in the ocean. With its idyllic coastline and quaint villages Barnardshire might seem like a perfect slice of quintessential tranquility, but to our aquatic adventurers it’s alive with the very real threats presented by crossing roads, traversing rooftops, dodging deep fat fryers, avoiding wildlife including the cantankerous locals, not to mention fragile fishbowls and the very real problem that fish can’t breathe out of water. A simple, intuitive control scheme leaves no excuses should your fish perish leaving you feeling very gill-ty. Swim, roll, glide, chomp, flip flop, inflate, fly and bite your way through enthralling challenges. Flying Fish – a little aloof at times but a real softy at heart, with the ability to glide through the air! These plucky heroes will leave no bowl unturned, putting their heart and shoal into the mission to re-unite! Piranha - wild, chaotic, loud, unpredictable, and loves to bite - obviously. Meet our heroes! Goldfish - cheerful, brave, and adventurous, a natural born swimmer! Pufferfish – a little slow but kind-hearted who can also puff up into a ball and roll across land. Over the course of the game you join them as they swim, fly, roll and chomp their way to the open ocean from the far-flung corners of Barnardshire (the smallest county in England) in their bid for freedom and to re-unite once again. The rest can be unlocked after passing more levels.I Am Fish is a charming, physics-based adventure starring four intrepid fish friends, forcibly separated from their home in a pet shop fish tank. The gold fish is just the first of the characters that you can play as. During your trip, you also shouldn’t forget to pick up pieces of bread that will help you restore your strength and continue your way full of energy. So even if you absolutely have to fall, try to look around and find something that will soften the hit – for instance, a bush of flowers or a pillow. Eventually, its durability limit will end and you’ll end up the same – in a puddle of rapidly drying water and amidst broken glass. Every time you hit some object or bump into something, there will be cracks appearing on it. The outcome isn’t hard to guess… However, it’s not the only way to damage your aquarium. Then your bowl will break and all the water will spill out. Just note that you can’t afford to fall down. The gold shell will be your first checkpoint – if something happens to you later on, you’ll be able to return to it without having to start the house part all over again. Then you can get out of the window and roll down the wires. For now, you just need to descend from shelf to shelf until you reach the window sill. Luckily, the game allows that – you just have to wiggle in your bowl actively enough for it to start rolling. So you somehow need to get going while still staying inside it. Simply because you won’t be able to breathe. But there is a difficulty – you can’t really leave your aquarium. The first thing you need to do is to get out of the house. And you are going to help him playing I Am Fish 2! He wonders what it’s like outside, he dreams of catching a glimpse of the sea and diving into its waves. The little goldfish is very bored in his bowl. It’s so relaxing and nice to observe the fish behind the glass! But do we ever wonder whether they are happy inside? The main heroes of this game don’t appear to be content with their life. Do you have an aquarium at home? How about your office? A lot of people do, and it’s no wonder.
